Not to mention the fact that the EC agreed to hold elections in Dec in Telangana and KCR (who sees himself as the Feudal Lord or the King) took more than 60 days to form the government.
We are aware of open buying and selling of MLAs and MPs in more than one state. Every institution, law and good practice is being subjugated to winning elections and our great intellectuals call it master stroke, surgical strike, killer instinct, hunger to win, and what not.
Location / Medium agnostic is absolutely correct. This 48 hour rule could be limited to formal campaign rallies / meetings. Other forms of communication could continue.
