Modi said India was once counted among the world’s ‘Fragile Five’ economies but has become a major and fast-paced economy in the last 12 years, after his govt came to power.
India now joins Germany, Japan, China, the US and France in operating hydrogen rail, with a train nearly three times the size of most global counterparts.
The 10-coach train will run between Jind and Sonipat, making India one of a few countries with hydrogen rail services and advancing its push towards cleaner transport.
