China is a South Asian country, sharing borders with 14 countries including India. Its significance lies in its rise in the region and hegemonic influence over smaller countries through loans and the Belt and Road Initiative. China and India have fought a major war in the 60s and have disputes over the Aksai Chin and LAC, and tensions over the Indo-Pacific.
11 million (1.1 crore) people in 2 weeks. And here we have not managed to test even 10% of that in 2 months plus. How we are going to compete with them or wean away their industrial might with such disparity in capacity, I don’t know. Both Indian govt and Indian people are delusional. If we want to become “atmanirbhar” then we need to up our industrial cacapcity ASAP. Sitting at home under lockdown isn’t going to get us there.
