New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Tuesday said he has postponed his indefinite hunger strike, scheduled from March 1 in “view of the prevailing Indo-Pak situation”.
His remarks came after India struck Jaish-e-Mohammed’s(JeM) biggest camp in Pakistan early Tuesday in a major “preemptive” action killing a large number of terrorists and trainers of the Pak-based terror group preparing to carry out suicide attacks in this country.
“In view of prevailing Indo Pak situation, I am postponing my upwas for full statehood of Delhi. We all stand as one nation today,” he posted on Twitter.
Earlier, Kejriwal saluted the pilots of the Indian Air Force (IAF) after it carried out the strikes in Pakistan.
“I salute the bravery of Indian Air Force pilots who have made us proud by striking terror targets in Pakistan,” Kejriwal said in a tweet.

India is believed to have carried out air strikes inside Pakistan early Tuesday and targeted terror camps, sources said.

The Pakistan Army on Tuesday alleged that the Indian Air Force violated the Line of Control (LoC) in Muzaffarabad sector.
“Indian aircraft intruded from Muzaffarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage,” Major General Asif Ghafoor, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the army, said in a tweet in Islamabad. -PTI

He should also NOT forget to send a ‘THANK YOU’ note to the IAF.
How are the two related? I demand that he goes on hunger strike, else he should be not be allowed to eat or drink till the goal is achieved. You are not allowed to cancel the circus just because the media has found something more interesting.

It is the media which built him from a very ordinary man to a colossus who would wipe out corruption from the land. The media gave wide, non stop and FREE TV and print coverage to his rantings on corruption, waving sheafs of papers in the air ( NO ONE actually knew what was in them) and naming practically every leader and promising one exposure every week. NOTHING at all was actually ‘exposed’ though he named even Sonia & Rahul, besides Sheila Dikshith. The media NEVER once held him to account for it. They got their TRPs, thanks to him, and THAT was it. They did not even care to go after the 4 donations of 50 lakhs each, amounting to 2 crores, from companies with NO address, No stock, NO transactions or trade, NO capital and NO assets. Kejriwal merely stated that they are REGISTERED companies, as if that itself cleared him as to source of funds. The media has much to answer for what Kejriwal is today.
