After Beti bachao, Beti Padhao, the Indian government is taking a step ahead with Khelo India.

In a meeting with chiefs of state-run banks Saturday, the finance minister said banks should safeguard themselves from any potential financial shock.

Decision, which will come into effect from 1 April, was made keeping in mind improved security in these areas, says home ministry.
