It was an electioneering speech to make villagers in Rajasthan understand the issue in a language they understand. One cannot imagine diplomatic sophistication of Saran will be understood by these voters. One should leave this issue and not start chest thumping. One can trust Modi to know what he is doing. Politically, Modi has to counter opposition attacks on him during the elections. He is not issuing threats to Pak or China but talking to voters. Every one knows what we have and importantly, what we don’t, except our own grassroot level voters.
