UP ministers & civil servants held meetings, roadshows in 21 cities across 16 countries to shore up pledges ahead of state's Global Investors' Summit 2023 which concluded Sunday.
The signing of the MOUs comes days after the recent Dubai Expo, where Maharashtra had inked 26 MOUs reigning in investment of more than 15,000 crores, which can potentially create 10,000 jobs.
Companies from six countries, including Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Korea, Germany and Italy have agreed to invest in Maharashtra, the Maharashtra govt said in a press release.
By pairing Indian drone engineering with Japanese semiconductor expertise, the two firms aim to develop more advanced autonomous systems tailored to both defence & commercial use.
