Sometimes I wonder when people say schemes like Ujjwala or Toilets mattered. How can it be that one had you are facing agrarian distress and unemployment issues and still a person would for benefit of a couple of thousands subsidy out of these schemes? Same people we call being aspirational India and then would be happy with such a meagre benefit. If it was really so why they would not vote in 3 hindi heartland states so overwhelmingly for BJP. It is beyond my understanding.

Modi didn’t have a fixed narrative, he responded to real issues faced by people and events affecting them.
This analysis is totally wrong, Modi &Pragya won because the alternative was so effete, even the projection of someone like raghuram Rajan would have resulted in better tally, Rahul is perceived as a failure, if you can’t help yourself with all the privileges, what can u do for the masses, it is like Abhishek bachan writing a book on how to become a successful actor, the no of people reading such a book will be less than Congress tally.

Trying to redress this Hindu guilt, if there is any, that they chose a man again along with terrorists like Pragya and the only reason they did so is there deeply entrenched hatred against Muslims. This hatred is there not just because of the Mughals ruled them but because they are jealous of Muslim culture and they feel inferior to it. Instead of hating it, they could have embraced it and let two culture continue to merge like they have been merging since Akbar the Great.
