The writers are forgetting that this slog – for a year or two – gives a sense of discipline to the young mind. It also encourages ambition and the habit of organising oneself for a schedule and then sticking to it.
Teenagers the world over have to work hard. Hey, if you don’t work hard now, you will get paid in low amounts for the rest of your life.
