Jammu and Kashmir is a union territory in northern India. It comprises two major regions: Jammu and the Kashmir Valley. A third region, Ladakh, along with Jammu and Kashmir, was a part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir until 2019. After the abrogation of Article 370, the state was broken into two: Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh. The region is known for breathtaking landscapes with a history going back to the Indus Valley Civilization, with evidence of various empires — Gandhara, Mauryan, Kushan, Gupta, Mughal, and Dogra — ruling the area.
The region has been a bone of contention between India and Pakistan since its 1947 accession to India. The two countries fought a war that resulted in the establishment of the Line of Control (LoC) and divided the region into Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Both Pakistan and China claim portions of Indian-administered Kashmir and Ladakh regions. It has been marred with violent incidents of militancy, which gained momentum in the 1980s and 1990s. The situation, fuelled by various grievances including political alienation, human rights abuses, and economic disparities, has resulted in prolonged conflict and counterinsurgency operations by security forces.
Indian Govt silence on this ATTACK on India’s diplomatic mission in London in unacceptable . Do we need to wait till our diplomats are killed or attacked?

India must deal with UK strictly. The tables have turned now. The UK needs India by its side at this moment. India has no need for the UK’s trade and diplomatic support. Its clearly a one-way dependence. India must take advantage of this.
The Free Trade Agreement talks must be cancelled and the MFN status withdrawn pending credible action against British citizens responsible for such “demonstrations”.
Visits by political leaders must be cancelled and the British Ambassador given an earful by the External Affairs Minister.
Unless credible and concrete actions are initiated by the UK authorities against the Pakistani and Khalistani elements responsible for such vandalism and propaganda.
UK is cultivating a Frankesnstein in their backyard by allowing unruly Pakistani and Khalistani expats to use violence against India against British civilisational erhics. UK must deport all such elements to their Native countries by revoking their citizenship and safegurd itself from future Jihadis and terroristswell within time before it gets too late.
If it is a number game, what if Indians (we have a billion more) march to the UK Embassy in India to protest against the atrocities on us during it’s colonial rule, or for that matter giving asylum to all the crooks who fled India? What if all past colonies does that in their respective countries? What if countries effected by Brexit does that in their respective countries? It is a shame that British politicians are not condemning or protecting Indian representations adequately! You are encouraging mob violence. Indian embassy cannot fight mobs – let them try to come to India instead. Indians are watching!
England has become the protector of anti social elements, in the name right to freedom of expression. They protected LTTE, they protected Khalistan terrorists, and now they are protecting separatists from Kashmir. The land is becoming Jihadis sen. The London mayor, of Pakistani origin, was doing lip service when fellow Pakistani goons were attaching Indian consulate, well under the watchful eyes of Londin police. Had the same happened to their consulates in India, they will be crying from roof top with BBC doing a 24/7 mass.
