Corruption and slow decision making are ‘synonymous’ with the BJD government, he alleged.
Odisha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday slammed Naveen Patnaik Cabinet saying “PC” (percentage commission) culture and delay in taking decisions have become identity of the state government resulting in its “tardy” development.
At a public meeting after inaugurating a new airport at Jharsuguda named after freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai, he said under the BJD government, without paying bribe the beneficiaries are denied fruits of central welfare programmes be it construction of toilet or that of irrigation.
The prime minister said corruption and delay in taking decisions are becoming synonymous with Odisha government functioning.
“There is tardy development in Odisha due to ‘PC’ (percentage commission) and delay in taking decisions,” the PM said.
Stepping up attack on the BJD government ahead of Assembly election due next year with general poll, Modi emphasised on the need for “barre parivartan” (big change) to give pace to the development in Odisha.
Hon.Prime Minister could have avoided such sharp words against State Govt.
Commission business against Modi Ji’s Rafael trick – do what you want, say what you want, I will not open my mouth. I am hard-working, honest and nationalist and everyone else born in this country during the last 70 years is good for nothing
Perfected through scams and poor governance in Rajasthan (Chotta Modi’s fleeing), Goa (Drug Smuggling and Mining Scams), Gujarat (Liquor Smuggling), MP (Vypam), Haryana (Beti Bachao to Rape and Killings), UP (Encounter in broad public view) , Karnataka (Mining) and wherever the BJP has ruled. Let us not discuss mob lynching lest we are called anti-nationals. Wah Modi Ji wah! Achhe din are really around.
