Disruptions in Parliament over Rahul Gandhi’s democracy-under-threat remark in London are unnecessary. Flay him for alarmism, but he isn’t the first to raise domestic concerns on foreign soil. Indira, Morarji, and Modi, too, did it. Individual views don’t make or mar India’s global standing. A proud nation deserves confident politicians.
