Also, they need not wary about people from other regions going into their area and buying up all their land. As Pandit Nehru famously said on the floor of Parliament – “Not even a blade of grass grows there.”
Why would anyone be interested in buying land in Ladakh of all places?

Mainland Indians should stop treating those who are not like them as their colonial subjects.
