It would be better if we knew what exactly Sanjiv Kumar wrote. “Official decorum” is a phrase in this article which makes it difficult for a reader like me to take sides. Was some official decorum violated, or was what was written should have been taken as “constructive criticism”? Difficult to say. But from Sanjiv Kumar’s statement that he could “resign”, he seems to be a man of haughty temperament, so he could be veering towards breaching official decorum. And yet, on the other hand, haughty people are exactly the types who offer constructive criticism!! 50-50. Let’s eat Parle biscuits called 50-50 and forget the whole thing.
On second thoughts if I can be cynical just for the heck of it, I’ll say BJP is a party of sycophants, Piyush Goyal and everyone else is a sycophant of Modi ji, and such people are likely to take umbrage from anything that is less than sycophantic. So we are back to square one, whatever that means.
