There will never be visceral hatred in PM Imran Khan’s heart for India, because of all the cricket in him. Too slender a bond to overcome the major issues between the two countries. However, one form of engagement that should be uninterrupted, uninterruptible. India and Pakistan should be playing cricket on each other’s soil.
I don’t think, we should risk our players life sending them to Pakistan. Hope you remember the attack on Srilankan cricketers who wanted to show their friendliness and agreed to play there. The after effect is that even if Srilankan board decides, no players is willing to go there. In Pakistan, the civilian govt has minimum role and the agenda by military govt are different.
It’s media who is coining the idea of hate with Pakistan even in a cricket match reminding people to watch the match in the backdrop of Balakot Air Strike……. It’s media who is thinking head of a common man….. If media will not disseminate the contrary view in people’s minds, nobody will think in that way….. Irresponsible media is harming and corrupting the people’s minds…… Even the fourth estate has failed this great country…..
Totally agree. And Prashant Dixit’s vitriolic headlines are utterly irresponsible. There is a difference between Muslims and Pakistan. And perhaps he is forgetting the recent Abhinandan controversy that emanated from Pak media.
