The concept of celebrating Hindu Kingdom is OK as far as RSS mindset is concerned. I would like to note here perticularly that Shivaji was not born as royal. He was a common man n with the help of Mavlas he carved his kingdom as Swarajya. Vijay Nagar kingdom was great rulers of South India but the concept of Shivaji was very different.i hope you may understand what I m trying to say
The writer should acquaint himself better with History.The first empire to defend Hindus and Hinduism was Vijayanagar empire which defended south India from Muslim aggression from North and West for almost 250 years between 1338 CE to 1565 CE. It was truely a forgotten empire. It took Robert Sivel to remind us through his book “Forgotten Empire”. On the other hand, Shivaji’s kingdom which grew into empire under the Peshwas is a living memory in India, and especially in Maharashtra. It is not a forgotten empire.

The RSS always mislead the Hindu community. The true gurus of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj were Rajmata Jijabai and Sant Tukaram. The ramdas was not the guru.
