New Delhi: China has entered Indian territory, Rahul Gandhi said, adding that he won’t lie about this even if his “whole career goes to hell”.
“If you want me to lie that the Chinese have not entered this country, I’m not gonna lie… I don’t care if my whole career goes to hell. I’m not going to lie,” Gandhi said.
In a one-minute video clip Gandhi posted on Twitter Monday, he said he is “absolutely convinced” that the Chinese have entered Indian territory. “So frankly, I don’t care if it costs me politically. I don’t care if I have no political career at all after that. But I’m going to say the truth as far as Indian territory is concerned,” he added.
The Chinese have occupied Indian land.
Hiding the truth and allowing them to take it is anti-national.

The video is part of a series launched two weeks ago in which the former Congress president comments on current affairs and history.

‘Blood boils’
In the latest video, Gandhi said the Chinese transgression makes his “blood boil”. “This disturbs me. It makes frankly my blood boil. How can some other nation just come into our territory?” Gandhi said.
The former Congress chief said he has seen satellite images and also spoken to former Army officers on the subject of the India-China standoff.
He also questioned the nationalism and patriotism of those “lying about Chinese entering our country”. “I think the people who are lying about Chinese entering our country are the people that are not nationalistic. I think the people who are lying and who are saying the Chinese are not in India, they are the people who are not patriotic,” he said.
India and China have been engaged in a border standoff for months now. While critics have alleged that China is currently in some parts of the Ladakh region on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control, the Modi government has claimed that there is no occupation of Indian territory.
The disengagement process between the countries is ongoing. On Monday, ThePrint reported that Indian satellite images as well as those procured from friendly countries have shown a large concentration of troops in the Tibet Autonomous Region and the Aksai Chin area.

Congress under Gandhiji was essentially a moderate and progressive Hindu party. Under current political circumstances congress should fight tooth and nail to reclaim its space that space which was under Gandhiji and drive away RSS to where it belongs that is to the margins of Hindus.

Sure, it’s definitely possible the Chinese may have occupied Indian land, but we are more than confident that the present Govt and PM is more than capable of handling the situation.
