BJP MP Harinarayan Rajbhar from eastern Uttar Pradesh has written to Ayodhya officials seeking a roof to be built for Lord Ram’s idol under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. R. Prasad quotes an old saying — “God resides in every poor soul” — as he takes a jibe at Rajbhar’s appeal.

Suhail Naqshbandi points out the frailty of the Triple Talaq Bill as he illustrates the plight of a Muslim couple with a satirical reference to Quentin Tarantino’s Hollywood flick Kill Bill.

Satish Acharya takes a dig at the debates over the upcoming film on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh titled The Accidental Prime Minister. Acharya illustrates an injured Singh ensuring the safety of the common man during his UPA regime. On the other side is PM Narendra Modi, surviving the NDA crash hale and hearty, oblivious to the damage he caused.

Gokul Gopalakrishnan depicts Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari pumped up with RSS support, hoping to accomplish the ’56 inch chest milestone in the 2019 general election.

Irfan draws the Opposition’s failing stance to play the NDA government “ball” as it hurls into the “Triple Talaq” stumps.

Sandeep Adhwaryu draws former PM Manmohan Singh as a pawn of the Congress as he shapes out a timeline where only the hands have changed over time — from former Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s to present chief Rahul Gandhi’s.

  1. With reference to Sandeep Adhwaryu’s cartoon, I think your interpretation is not accurate at all. Coming on a day when the big news is how BJP is using a film made on MMS to show Congress’first family in bad light, Adhwaryu seems to suggest by this cartoon that in UPA time MMS was used by Sonia Gandhi and now in NDS time MMS’name is being used by BJP.
