New Delhi: The Delhi Police has arrested four people, including two women, who allegedly arranged and transported the weapons used to attack actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai Sunday.
The four individuals were arrested by Special Cell (NDR) on Tuesday and were produced before a Delhi court, with a Kalandra under Section 35(1)(b) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) which outlines the strict parameters under which a police officer may arrest a person without a warrant for offenses punishable by seven years or less.
Police said the four have been identified as Kunal (22) and Sumit (19), both from Haryana’s Sonepat, and Radha (23) from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, and Babita (23) from the state’s Azamgarh.
Radha and Babita were apprehended at New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were held from Sonipat.
A senior Delhi Police official said Kunal and Sumit are unemployed, while Radha is a security guard and Babita office attendant. Kunal previously worked for Anil Pandit and was involved in a firing case in Panipat in March 2026, the officer said.
Radha was Kunal’s friend and Babita was Radha’s friend. Police said they were assigned to arrange logistics to carry out the attack. Radha, specifically, was used as a courier by Kunal, they said.
After they were held by the Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday, the Maharashtra Police’s CID, which is investigating the larger case, moved an application seeking permission for their custodial interrogation and formal arrest. The court allowed the application and the accused were formally arrested by Maharashtra Police’s CID.
The court also allowed a Mumbai Police application, seeking three days’ transit remand of the accused.

Encrypted apps
The Delhi Police said their investigation revealed that Kunal came out on bail recently in the March shooting case and was “introduced to Anil Pandit by one of his friends,” and “he began talking with him on an encrypted app”.
Detailing his role in the instant case, a senior police officer said their investigation revealed that Kunal collected one pistol and 20 rounds from Amritsar “on Anil Pandit’s directions”. Sumit accompanied him.
Police’s investigation further revealed that Kunal met Radha about two months ago, and “told her about his activities, developed a relationship with her and persuaded her to travel to Mumbai with weapons”.
On 15 October, the investigation found, “Kunal took Radha and Babita to New Delhi Railway Station. The pistol was in Radha’s bag. Kunal stayed in touch (with both Radha and Anil) through an encrypted app during the journey, passing on Anil Pandit’s instructions.”
A senior police officer said, the two women reached Mumbai 17 October, getting down at Dadar and checking into a hotel. “A minor boy collected the bag (containing the weapon) at about 11 am (the same day) from Radha near the hotel,” said the officer.
About 7 pm on Sunday (18 October), three shooters (different from the four individuals arrested on Tuesday) fired shots allegedly targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff near Pushpa Park in Juhu.
Radha and Babita left Mumbai for Delhi by Dadar-Haridwar Express the same day, the police officer quoted above said.
“Anil Pandit told Kunal the shooters are stuck in Mumbai, and asked him to arrange their escape,” said the police officer.
On 20 October, Radha and Babita were apprehended at New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were apprehended in Sonipat.
Multi-state cooperation to arrest 3 shooters
The three alleged assailants—identified as Rehan and Phool Singh from Haryana’s Sonipat, and Hrithik Kumar from Bihar’s Begusarai—fled Mumbai by road and train, but a multi-city police operation tracked their movements from Surat in Gujarat to Kota in Rajasthan. The Kota Police detained them aboard the Pune-Jaipur Express.
ThePrint earlier reported that after fleeing the crime scene, the trio first took a train to Kandivali Station in the northern suburbs of Mumbai before leaving for Surat in Gujarat via road. They then boarded a train to Jaipur.
By early Monday, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch traced the suspects’ exit route and tipped off their counterparts about their movement by train towards Rajasthan.
They were then traced to the first general compartment of the Pune-Jaipur express train by a joint team of Surat and Mumbai Police, after which they were detained by the Kota Police.
By early Monday, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch traced the suspects’ exit route and tipped off their counterparts about their movement by train towards Rajasthan.
“We worked on the inputs and traced the trio’s movements via train,” a Gujarat Police officer told ThePrint. “There are only two general compartments in the particular express train and the suspects were caught by surveillance cameras at the station rushing to board the first general compartment towards the engine,” the officer said.
Plan to flee to Nepal foiled by police
According to Kota Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam, the trio intended to go to Delhi via road before attempting to flee to Nepal to evade arrest after the crime.
Gautam said that Rehan was the main accused among the trio, who was in touch with a US-based operative of the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who has purportedly taken responsibility for the attack on Shroff.
“Rehan was in touch with Anil Pandit, and he was the one who recruited the other accused from the same district and reached Mumbai around 10 days back and also roped in Hrithik, who was already living in Mumbai,” she further said.
According to the probe conducted so far, the trio was promised Rs 35,000 and opportunities to settle abroad as allurement for the crime.
