New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened an all-party meeting to discuss “one nation, one election” and other important matters. On the eve of the first session of the new Lok Sabha, the PM Modi had invited heads of all parties for the meeting. The Congress and several other opposition leaders including M.K. Stalin, Mamata Banerjee and N. Chandrababu Naidu decided to skip the meeting. But other leaders including Nitish Kumar, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ram Vilas Paswan, Sharad Pawar, Asaduddin Owaisi and Sitaram Yechury attended the meeting.
