New Delhi: Fresh off Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s second consecutive IPL title — and an unbeaten 75 in the final against Gujarat Titans on Sunday — Virat Kohli was spotted flying out of Mumbai on Wednesday morning wearing a T-shirt that, ironically, declared him a “work in progress.”
The slogan was printed beneath an illustration of a construction worker with his head slightly bowed and accompanied by the words “Sorry for Any Inconvenience Caused” on the back. The 37-year-old former India captain was captured by paparazzi at Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport early this morning.
Kohli paused briefly to pose for photographers with both thumbs raised before heading inside.

At Sunday’s IPL final at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium, Kohli anchored RCB’s innings with a 75 off just 42 balls, helping the franchise defend last year’s IPL title — their first in 18 years.
Even when wicket after wicket tumbled, Kohli remained unbothered. He even treated an injury that had him limping between deliveries as a minor inconvenience.
He smashed boundaries and walked off with swag. He swung his bat in his signature style and blew kisses to the audience and finished the game off with a stylish sixer.
After RCB won comfortably by four wickets, Kohli praised his fellow batters during the post-match presentation.
“All the batsmen chipped in as well. I feel so happy to play in a group where we have balance, we have strength, and we are an all‑around strong team and that’s why we have the confidence we have on the field right now,” he said.

A day later, Kohli and his actor wife Anushka Sharma visited the ashram of spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan. In many videos on social media, Kohli and Anushka were seen with their masks on and walking barefoot behind the guru.
A young Kohli first joined the Bengaluru franchise in 2008 and has stayed with the team since.
