That was really a big day, when India brought Pakistan to its knees, if I can use a brash expression, in the 1971 Bangladesh war. That was a full fledged multi day ferocious army operation which our brave soldiers won triumphantly.
Celebrating Vijay Diwas will also remind us that courage resides in “guts” and not “chest”, and guts are 300 inches long against 50-60 inches of chest as some men claim. A woman can have “guts”, believe it or not.
