It wants Brahmins only in the ruling class, i.e. Civil services, etc. This person will surely one day will be remembered for burning down my dear India due to his loose statements which will disturb peace and tranquility of this great Nation. His ill thought statements will cause riots some day and will result in unnecessary bad blood among various castes. He should be slapped with some case under IPC by some SC/ST lawyer using his knowledge of law. Its high time he is gagged.
Mr. Bhagwat must first start harmonious talk on ending caste system forever and not reservation. Why don’t these RSS people talk about prevalance of casteism in society.
Dr Mohan Bhagwat has called for an honest conversation, something I support. The policy has been in force for almost seventy years, has grown in size and complexity – also longevity – beyond what the Constitution provided for. The latest mutation is reservation for the poor among the forward castes. How well the policy has worked, how far it has transformed the social and economic well being of three generations of beneficiaries needs to be reviewed. At the moment, it is all about winning elections.
