The Israel-Palestine question appeared to be the one area where he apparently refused to soften his views. And that refusal is now colliding with the realities of governing.
India’s states have vastly different electricity needs. Tamil Nadu has high wind penetration and Rajasthan has abundant solar irradiance. A one-size-fits-all procurement template cannot work.
Madras High Court has ordered strict compliance with Tamil Nadu's abolition of the 'orderly system'. In ending this colonial-era practice, southern states are torchbearers of social reform.
That Badshah is misogynistic is not a particularly illuminating observation. The misogyny is a creative condition of his music, as fundamental to it as the buzzy beat drop.

Iran faces a choice that is larger than the immediate conduct of war. It can continue the logic of short-term escalation, or it can think in the longer historical frame.
The Nirouyeh Vijeh Pasdaran Velayat, or NOPO, was the only force Ali Khamenei trusted. It was founded in 1991 and is more feared than the Revolutionary Guards.
Rating democracies is a tricky business. I am only using the simple metric of who in the Indian subcontinent has had the most peaceful, stable, normal political transitions and continuity.
Modi is very fond of power politics and 56 inch large image. This is killing India. He is no different than other congressmen who believe in chamchagiri and high command politics. Bhaktards are another nuisance. Even after full support of Godi media he is unable to manage a small opposition. Imagine if it was fully powerful opposition with a working media who would ask for amit shah’s resignation for the absconding terrorists
Please ask the writer to also express his views over the Murshidabad violence and the court report, what law reforms are required in India to avoid such things in future. Over to you Mr Jagganathan.

70 % of the Indians who vote only vote because of caste reservation basis. In 70 years they didn’t win because for a great nation they were looking beyond this ideology but looking at how whole India’s people vote they have aligned their working in same way. They can do any good for the country which is finally happening only if they stay in power. And this is much needed so totally understand and support it.
Absolutely agree. The government and the opposition needs to get their act together instead of wasting our time with their usual bickering. Repulsed may he be at the idea of it, but the PM cannot effectively govern the whole wide nation without striking some peace across the aisle. He should be sensible enough to grasp this.

Opposition Congress, TMC , AAP, SP etc is negative, obstructive, insecure, corrupt, does blatant appeasement politics in states where it is in power, opposes everything Modi does irrespective of merit and to the extent of going against national interest. Winning elections is a must to stay in power and do what is best for nation, otherwise opposition will sell the country to dogs. Author has no balanced analysis.

Socialist Modi is done and dusted. Hope at least the Libertarian Party of India gets things done for India. BJP has reduced itself to a shameless socialist party.
Surprisingly one sided views. PM would have definitely called and discussed issues with a Sane LoP. What we have now is a dud, dumb and childish actor. PM is definitely engaging with sensible Opposition leaders from all parties, including Congress. But one ‘nominated’ leader is the problem. Country can do without this guy…
