The Supreme Court direction to give a job, house and compensation to Bilkis Bano, a gangrape survivor from the 2002 Gujarat riots, is a remarkable story of inordinate courage and perseverance against all odds. Although unpardonably delayed because of evidence tampering, justice has finally been done. Hopefully, closure will follow.
