There’s no difference between Karnataka minister K. Sudhakar’s remarks about women choosing to stay single or child-free, and RSS’ Mohan Bhagwat’s against young Hindus converting to other religions for marriage. At the heart of these statements is a regressive impulse to undermine individual choices and freedoms, especially that of women.
