In declining invitation to attend Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, Congress has missed a crucial opportunity to become stakeholder in debate over historical wrongs and reconciliation process. Its prevarications over Ram temple impress neither Hindus nor Muslims. Congress should frame its politics and ideology out of conviction, not insecurities.

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das’ warning that inordinate delays in IBC processes erode the value of the underlying assets is an important one. More than two-third of cases have overshot their deadlines. There’s a dire need to clear up the quagmire that the NCLT, NCLAT, tribunals, and appeals process has become.
