New Delhi: The Congress issue continued to dominate Twitter Tuesday, with everyone discussing the grand old party’s decision to continue with the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. Meanwhile, some still couldn’t get over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘interaction’ with peacocks.

A day after the stormy Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting to decide on its  leadership, Congress leader Kapil Sibal set his priorities straight.

Former Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha got rather philosophical, hinting at how the CWC meeting failed to bring any promise of change.

But Tamil Nadu Congress president Mohan Kumaramangalam insisted on why Sonia Gandhi’s words aren’t empty.

Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera and journalist Nikhil Wagle, meanwhile, got into what seemed like a spat.

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh called out media houses for paying more attention to peacocks than floods and unemployment.

But it’s only fun if the Prime Minister is feeding a peacock.

Congress’ official Twitter handle also took a jibe at PM Modi’s photo op with a peacock.

Advocate Sanjoy Ghose explained why the peacock featured in the video with PM Modi needs a lawyer.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed the Uttar Pradesh government over its attitude towards safety of journalists.

Former finance minister Yashwant Sinha was also found keeping up with the times.
