New Delhi: With another political drama stewing in Rajasthan between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, Twitter was flooded with people taking sides in the feud.
To begin with, the Congress is in a tizzy, yet again.
Veteran leader Kapil Sibal is extremely worried—and so should be the party.
Worried for our party
Will we wake up only after the horses have bolted from our stables ?

P. Chidambaram’s son Karti takes a fairly roundabout way to make his point about the crisis in Rajasthan — with help from Google.
Why is @Google a successful company? Because it lets talent to become entrepreneurial within the organisation. Lessons to be learnt here. 🙂 🙂

Sacked spokesperson Sanjay Jha made it clear whose side he’s on.
I fully back Sachin Pilot. Look at the facts:
Rajasthan 2013 Assembly elections; CM- Mr Gehlot.
Result: BJP- 163, Congress- 21 ( lowest ever)
Rajasthan 2018 Assembly Elections:
Result: BJP-73, Congress-100.
One man slogged 5 years for it; Sachin.
But who becomes the CM?

Wordsmith Shashi Tharoor elevated the issue to loftier heights…
I passionately believe that our country needs a genuinely liberal party headed by centrist professionals committed to inclusive politics and respectful of India’s pluralism. All who believe in the founding values of the Republic must work to strengthen @INCIndia not undermine it

Senior party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala knows the BJP playbook by heart and predicts what will follow the IT raids conducted today on people close to Gehlot.
भाजपा का दूसरा अंग्रिम संगठन भी मैदान में आया
ई.डी भी जयपुर आ ही गई, जैसा कहा था।
अब CBI कब आएगी? https://t.co/KkoBoUvB7B

As for the BJP, it’s not saying much although newly-minted leader Jyotiraditya Scindia expresses sympathies for his former Congress colleague. Hmmm.
Sad to see my erstwhile colleague, @SachinPilot too, being sidelined and persecuted by Rajasthan CM, @ashokgehlot51 . Shows that talent and capability find little credence in the @INCIndia .

Meanwhile, economist Kaushik Basu has an epic theory on what will happen if people from the Congress keep crossing over to the BJP. That’s one way of looking at it.
The Trojan horse mistake. If the BJP continues to woo Congress party members to become BJP, after some time there will be reason for BJP to worry and Congress to celebrate because, while it may still be called BJP, it will in effect be Congress.

Moving on to West Bengal, both Sambit Patra and Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga were amongst many BJP leaders outraged by the death of BJP MLA Debendra Nath Ray, found hanging outside a shop in Kolkata.
Bagga had some choice words for West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
अगर पश्चिम बंगाल में @BJP4Bengal के एक चुने हुए विधायक को मार के लटकाया जा सकता है ..तो ज़रा सोचे आम आदमी के साथ क्या सलूक होता होगा??
भयावह!! pic.twitter.com/4KMOqfXQMm— Sambit Patra (@sambitswaraj) July 13, 2020

And why is BJP’s National General Secretary Kailash Vijaywargiya publicising Ray’s body?

Gujarat Police Constable Sunita Yadav was transferred from her position after she detained a deputy minister’s son for violating lockdown rules. Here, the Indian Police Federation reminds the police supervisors of their duty.
Every police officer takes an oath of allegiance to the constitution of India, swearing to enforce the law strictly, without fear or favour. When a policewoman discharges her duty with dignity, it is the duty of her supervisors to stand with her. pic.twitter.com/coXmzn2R0h

Actor Juhi Chawla makes a fairly accurate ‘slip’.

And finally, cricket legend Sir Vivian Richards cannot ‘keep calm’ about the fantastic four-wicket test match win by West Indies against England on Sunday.
WHAT A WIN!!!
Yes boys @windiescricket ?
