New Delhi: After India decided to opt out of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), BJP ministers rushed in with similar congratulatory messages for Prime Minister Modi.
India’s decision to not sign RCEP is a result of PM @narendramodi’s strong leadership & unflinching resolve to ensure national interest in all circumstances.
It shall ensure support to our farmers, MSMEs, dairy & manufacturing sector, pharmaceutical, steel & chemical industries.

Congratulate PM @narendramodi for his bold and courageous decision to not join RCEP, since it was against our economic interests and national priorities. Modi hai to mumkin hai!

Thanks to strong & decisive leadership of PM @narendramodi ji who took the historic decision not to join RCEP based on India’s interests. He has always kept in mind the interest of stakeholders including farmers, dairy sector, manufacturers & MSMEs.

Meanwhile, Congress congratulated itself on winning the ‘victory’.
A strong opposition by the Congress has resulted in BJP govt. rolling back its decision on signing the RCEP agreement. This is the victory of millions of farmers, dairy producers, fishermen & small & medium businesses who would have been disastrously affected with this agreement.

And Rahul Gandhi explained why India shouldn’t sign RCEP.
"Make in 🇮🇳" has become “Buy from 🇨🇳”.
Each year we import Rs. 6,000/ worth of goods from 🇨🇳 for every Indian! A 100% increase since 2014. #RCEP will flood India with cheap goods, resulting in millions of job losses & crippling the 🇮🇳 economy. https://t.co/4DqzARiL6D

On record: for the first time, US President Donald Trump has searched for ‘deeper meaning’.
Great! But how do you know it was a “mistweet?” May be something with deep meaning! https://t.co/00EXMCgQLp

But then he reverted to the Trump we all know, love or hate, to promote his son’s book, shamelessly.
My son, @DonaldJTrumpJr is coming out with a new book, “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us” – available tomorrow, November 5th! A great new book that I highly recommend for ALL to read. Go order it today!

Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger finds a surprising friend.
It was fantastic to see my friend and one of my heroes @GretaThunberg last week and go on a bike ride around Santa Monica together and I was so pumped to introduce her to my daughter Christina. Keep inspiring, Greta! pic.twitter.com/3Q6ZuInJHY
