Great. I’m happy crackers were banned on Diwali. I’m not Hindu, but I do participate in its culture (I’m an all-inclusive person, atheist). Sad part is I’m not seeing these economic, religious, health and political undertones in this New Year Eve 2021, people bursted firecrackers (non-green crackers as well) and sadly no implications.
That is not liberalism, my liberalism was to enforce ban to protect the environment, not to promote an agenda. I wanted a ban on all occasions (political events, religious events and cultural events), in so far media is owned by people who would not point a finger at Minorities, it is really sad to see this fireband pseudo-liberalism. I take no part in this. I will be neutral on CAA, actively oppose those three collective farm bills (dubbed as “agriculture reforms”) pushed in haste and bring about true secularism by finishing the ills of Hindutva extremism and Islamist extremism. Reform Abrahamic religions in India and dhamric religions (having Superstitions and crap). From then on we will move forward. Onward people, onward!
