It seems the journalists of an independent news portal like THE PRINT follow the same news media as the rest of us ignorant public. When was the last time agrarian distress was discussed? writes the author which is actually surprising because the channels she mentioned did have some lively discussions. She can go and ask Yogendra Yadav, who is a contributor to this news portal, to know how many TV shows he has appeared on in past 3 months to discuss agrarian distress.
Even more so, if the same topics are causing viewer fatigue as well as this author’s fatigue, instead of going to a cricket match or a cooking show, she can watch MIRROR NOW anchored by FAYE d’Souza, who has done atleast 2 shows on agrarian distress in the past one month as far as I know and almost all her daily debates are socially relevant.
