The Congress MP was responding to a question about his recent remark that no good Hindu would want a temple at the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid site.
There's a lot of resentment in RSS and its affiliates over BJP’s failure to build Ram temple. The RSS brass will be meeting for three days in Thane beginning 31 Oct.
As SC lists hearing for January, one section in BJP is worried about its restless voter base but another believes hearings closer to polls will benefit party.
Indians aged 20-30 are trading in options market in droves, but know nothing about it & so keep losing money. If losses mount, it could undo gains India saw in investment culture, analysts fear.
Chiman Singh, injured in 1971 India-Pakistan war, was discharged as non-pensioner in 1972. In his petition, he states denial of pension is contrary to settled law.
Even in the weeks leading up to Chamkila’s assassination there were massacres every other day. To airbrush all of this is sheer intellectual cowardice if not a crime.
What do you mean development agenda has fizzled out? Please elaborate. Inflation is in control, growth in the last quarter was at 8.2%. Ease of business rankings are much better, gst, rera, bankruptcy laws, etc. Please substantiate your points
Sir,how much you are paid for vomiting venom against the Hindus and Modi? You have nothing to offer except Modi and BJP bashing. Relieve yourself from this deadly obsession. Modi is not going to vanish from the scene anytime soon. He is a horse of long race.
Everyone wants Vikas. The BJP’s loyal voters have included traders, small businessmen, educated professionals, all of whom want the economy to do well. Violence is abhorrent in itself, also not good for business. Not sure how many of the core 20% voters are fixated on a Ram mandir. It would be good if it comes up peacefully, as a result of a court verdict or preferably some graceful out of court settlement. However, most Indians would flinch from a repeat of the trail of violence that concluded with the Bombay blasts of March 1993. Nor would foreign investors, now a far more important constituency than they were in the early nineties, endorse such a development. Better to rope in Prasoon Joshi and a few other talents to think up some nice jingles.
Religion is the opium for the masses! Is the old adage which still holds good in a country of God fearing rather than God loving country like ours
