It’s rather late in the day. If it had come somewhere midway, then it could be presented by the BJP as one of their accomplishments. Whether people would have accepted it or not is a different matter. May be in their heart they knew that people won’t, that’s why they didn’t even try. Instead, midway came the disastrous demonetization!
NOW, at the fag end of their 5 years if Modi government and BJP expect the Ram Mandir to win them the elections, then it’ll be expecting too much. Unless they have decided to “do a Hanuman” to this country — remember, Hanuman burnt down the entire Lanka before leaving from there?! Only difference would be, Shri Ram was leaving from there victorious, and these guys would be leaving with ALL THEIR BRIDGES BURNT.

It has the five years of the incumbent’s record to question, to compare it with all that was promised in 2014. It need not visit too many temples to make a point. While highlighting issues like jobs, it should have its own credible solutions to offer. Ram mandir is not an issue to bet the farm on; there could a complete failure of the crop.
