Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath working in close coordination is a classic example of how political compulsions and a common enemy can bring even rivals together.
Senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia has joined the BJP. The Congress has been unable to attract new leaders or retain some of its promising members.
Madhya Pradesh’s Kamal Nath govt has razed portion of a resort belonging to BJP MLA Sanjay Pathak while also raiding home of former minister Narottam Mishra.
4-time MP Jyotiraditya Scindia had been with Congress for 18 yrs, having joined the party after father Madhavrao Scindia's death. He had been a minister during both UPA stints.
The move comes after 21 Congress MLAs resigned following Jyotiraditya Scindia's exit from the party Tuesday, pushing the Kamal Nath govt to the brink of collapse.
The Romans’ version of stoicism is rapidly picking popularity on Instagram — Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, and Seneca are some names that get thrown at you when you fire up your screen.
Germany’s erstwhile Christian Democratic Union govt, led by Angela Merkel, prevented sale of small arms to police forces in states they perceived had ‘bad human rights record’.
A theme has not yet emerged for BJP & people see lack of a contest, which makes it unexciting. For all these reasons, 2024 is turning out to be an unexpectedly theme-less election.
Politics really a dirty game, literally politicians can go to any extent, Stab their anathema, even slit the throats of their bete noire for their personal interests. This is why Politicians are mostly corrupt, immoral, unethical, unscrupulous, dishonest and reprobate.
Diggy is a mass leader!! This man was CM of old MP from 1993-2003 but has been unable to win a Loksabha seat since then. He is the typical cunning Congressi without any popular support
Digvijay Singh has a large following and is a mass leader in MP? Looks like the lady writer doesn’t know the ground reality. If for anything Diggi raja is the most hated politician in our state ,across the political divide. Ask anyone on the road, here in MP, and you will get the answer- that he is really mr bantadhar for the state and for congress party also.
For all his astuteness and mass appeal, Digvijaya Singh has been out of political office after serving for two terms as CM. In the last Assembly poll, despite three intervening terms of CM S S Chouhan and the anti incumbency that is bound to accumulate, people still remembered his tenure, especially the poor power situation, with a distinct lack of nostalgia. It is a pity the Gandhi family did not intervene on the side of Mr Scindia, against whom two politicians beyond their sell by date were conspiring. The survival of the state government looks difficult. Even if this attempt fails, there will be others, as happened in Karnataka. The closeness of the Assembly result, followed by the Lok Sabha washout, was a good reason to create synergy between three strong leaders.

Congress party is for old political leaders only. Youngsters will not find it suitable for their ambitions.
