What I really don’t understand is how we have allowed our education system’s regulation in such a state. So many bodies at both centre and state level…no one really understands why. Makes me wonder if these bodies are created just to give babus cushy chairs to sit on rather than really giving meaningful education to our students.

Everywhere in the world masters program in all subjects is typically of one year duration. Except India where we do not value time — or productivity.
