The report (as appeared in media) is feasibility report and not pre feasibility report. Next stage is DPR. It seems correspondent supplied wrong information to get the comments of RailBoard official. Approval of DPR is needed for major activities and whole world knows that. It seems Mr.Alok wanted to screw the project.

If you applied common sense you can understand the cost for the standard gauge is less than BG line. For BG double line you need a formation of 10meters. That much land acquisition is needed.
