Bombay HC last week upheld life term of Abdul Rauf Merchant, henchman of Dawood Ibrahim, and also overturned acquittal of Rauf's brother Abdul Rashid in Gulshan Kumar murder case.
Swamy, 84, who claims to be suffering from several ailments, had moved the high court earlier this year seeking medical treatment and interim bail on health grounds.
The court also confirmed the conviction of Abdul Rashid Merchant and sentenced him to life imprisonment noting that he was one of the persons who shot at Gulshan Kumar.
