Modi tells reporters discussion on several issues is necessary in national interest, urges parties to make use of the session.

New Delhi: Calling for extensive discussion in Parliament’s monsoon session which began here today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that his government was ready for debate on any issue raised by political parties.

Modi told reporters that discussion on several issues is necessary in national interest and urged political parties to make maximum use of the time available in the session, which will continue till 10 August.

He said he had always hoped for a productive session and striven for this and his government would continue to do so.

“Any party wants to raise any issue, this government is ready for a discussion,” he told reporters just before the beginning of the session.

The more extensive the discussion in Parliament, the better it is for the country, he said, adding that it will always help his government in decision making.

Referring to the ongoing Monsoon season, he said some parts of the country have received less rain and some others are facing different problems. He called for discussion on these issues.

The Prime Minister expressed the hope that Parliament’s functioning will be an inspiration for state assemblies in the country.”- PTI

No, no, Mr. Prime Minister, is it not too “early ” ?

The Prime Minister must answer the nation and its public a lot many
    questions !
Why this spirit was found wanting in NaMo all these more than four years ?
Why time and energy was unduly and unnecessarily frittered away even when
while in power behaving as if in the opposition ?
Who is responsibe for this huge loss of time and energy of the nation ?
Why NaMo being Pradhan Sewak did not make such an appeal before the start
of all the parliament sessions in the past too and why ” NOW ” ?
Had the early parliament sessions no significance at all ?
Why this monsoon session of the parliament is so “special and important” ?
Did NaMo earlier remain under this allusion that he would not have to face masses
    and polls any more ?
Mr. Prime Minister, time has now come to face the electorate and answer the
questions which you had so long been evading and not bothering to answer !
Earlier on, you were under this impression how am I accountable and answerable
to the people of India ?
Have you now come to understand that you cannot escape realities and truth?
