In Karnataka, BJP is taking out four yatras from four places. But the leadership of the yatra has been given to only three leaders and the yatra in four directions will be held on three different days. The first yatra will start from Chamarajanagar under the leadership of BJP president JP Nadda on 1 March. The second one on 2 March under Rajnath Singh from Belagavi. Third on 3 March, from Bengaluru under Amit Shah. And the fourth one from Bidar on 3 March will also be led by Shah. If Shah has two yatras, why should the remaining two be responsible for one each? Sources say that the planner had asked the home minister to keep two programs for Rajnath Singh and Nadda. But Shah refused, saying that Nadda is the party’s national president and Rajnath Singh is a senior leader. In such a situation, the junior should do more work.

Mute yourself

Do you understand virtual silence? JP Nadda asked BJP MPs to refrain from making controversial statements on Hindu rashtra and religion. He said this in a virtual meeting with the MPs. On this, a member of parliament from Karnataka asked, “Such things are usually said as a reference during speeches for 30-40 seconds, how to stop?” Nadda suggested that just like microphones get muted for a few seconds during virtual meetings, the reference people should mute themselves for 30-40 seconds during speeches.

Enough with that Sri Anna

There was so much publicity for millets (Sri Anna) that some people are now anxious because of it. A BJP politician has accumulated a record of the last few months, in which hardly a single day has passed without any statement, advertisement, invitation, or visual regarding millets. Recently, this leader went to four states for the party’s programme and had food at the workers’ homes. But he was served millets. Neither the BJP leaders can forbid the workers to serve it, nor are they able to digest the coarse grain. That is the anxiety.

BJP’s own PK

According to sources, the general secretary of Bihar BJP, Vinod Tawde, has collected all the data related to the state and stored it on his laptop. During party meetings, he has been using the laptop’s data to analyse assembly seats. A Bihari politician is sure to have a Bihari attitude. One leader finally said, “Sir, it has been difficult to get rid of PK, who gave sermons from his laptop. The knowledge one gets on the field is much better.”

America’s Jitan Ram Manjhi

These days George Soros is in a lot of discussions. Who is he? What are those discussions and why is there a controversy over his statement? Most of the BJP workers are not understanding the point. A Bihar BJP worker was interested to know the matter and who this personality is. A party leader replied to the worker in one fell swoop, saying, “Don’t worry too much. Consider him as America’s Jitan Ram Manjhi, who speaks whatever comes to his mind.’

Nominate or hold an election

Ahead of the Raipur plenary, several senior Congress leaders advised the party president Mallikarjun Kharge that the Congress Working Committee (CWC) election should not be held in Raipur. They say that if the CWC elections are held, the leaders’ full attention will go toward the elections and no one will be interested in the rest of the year’s agenda. If the elections are held in Raipur, representatives of all the provinces and castes of the country will not be able to attend.

Large states with more delegates will dominate the working committee. However, it has been advised that these factors be considered in the nomination made by the Congress president as well. The leaders who wanted to contest the elections are also trying to get nominated now. Those feeling difficulty in this are asking about the announcements of Udaipur Chintan Shivir—just hold the elections.
