Lucknow, Aug 17 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed officials during the ‘Janata Darshan’ in Lucknow to prepare an estimate for the treatment of a child who is suffering from thalassemia, the UP government said in a statement.

On Monday, Roli from Sitapur reached the chief minister’s official residence with her child amid torrential rain and apprised Adityanath of her distress, seeking financial assistance.

He then directed officials to get an estimate for the treatment, following which she expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

While meeting people, the chief minister assured those who approached him seeking financial assistance for the treatment, saying, “Lack of money will not become an obstacle to treatment. The government is continuously providing financial assistance.” He said that funds for treatment will be provided from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

Handing over the applications to the officials, he directed that every problem must be resolved in a time-bound, quality-oriented and satisfactory manner.

He also directed time-bound disposal and action on applications related to police, revenue, medical matters, land encroachment and other issues, the statement said. PTI NAV KSI KSI
