Two killed after being hit by truck, police hunt for driver

Jaipur, May 12 (PTI) Two persons were killed in a road accident in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, police said on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on Monday night in the Udyog Nagar area when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle from behind near Lohia ka Tibara, they said.

Both riders sustained grievous injuries and were taken to a hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Sadhuram said the deceased were identified as Mukesh and Anil Jangid, who were related as brothers-in-law.

The truck driver fled after the accident. Police said the bodies were handed over to family members after a post-mortem, and efforts are underway to trace the accused. PTI AG KSI KSI
