Jaipur, Oct 9 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday said the speedy resolution of public grievances and timely relief to citizens were among the state government’s highest priorities.

During an inspection of the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline-181 at the state secretariat here, Sharma interacted with complainants, heard their grievances and directed officials to ensure their prompt resolution, according to an official statement.

He said the government was continuously working to strengthen administrative accountability and transparency in grievance redressal.

“Our effort is to make Rajasthan Sampark Helpline-181 an effective platform for the speedy resolution of every citizen’s complaint,” Sharma said.

The chief minister also reviewed the functioning of the Next Generation Rajasthan Sampark system and examined the capabilities of the AI-based ‘Sampark GPT’ tool in analysing public complaints.

He directed departments to use technology-driven analysis to identify the root causes of recurring grievances and take effective corrective measures.

Sharma said such an approach would help improve grievance redressal and ensure timely relief to people. PTI AG NB

Nine Years, Made Possible by Readers

In 2017, Shekhar Gupta started ThePrint with a simple belief: Indian readers want journalism that asks why and what next, not just what. And that enough of them would be willing to pay for good journalism.

Nine years on, that belief has held.

And, in these nine years, we’ve stayed true to our mission. We’ve been asking the follow-up questions, going beyond the headlines and explaining what’s actually happening. We’ve travelled across the country to bring you in-depth, visually-compelling stories from the ground.

It’s been nine years of readers choosing to make this possible. If you’d like to be one of them:
