Imphal, Jul 31 (PTI) Three militants with allegiance to different proscribed outfits have been arrested from two valley districts of Manipur, police said on Friday.
While one militant was arrested on Thursday, two others were nabbed on Wednesday from Imphal West and Thoubal districts.
Mangkhom Keshokumar Singh (45), a member of the banned Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup militant group, was arrested from the vicinity of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Thursday, police said.
Security forces also arrested Leishangthem Lamnganba Singh (23), an active cadre of Kangleipak Communist Party (Nongdrenkhomba), from his residence in Imphal West district on Wednesday.
The same day, Maibam Rajkumar Singh (28), an active cadre of the Kangleipak Communist Party, was apprehended from the Khongjom area in Thoubal district, police added. PTI COR NSD
