Social Justice Ministry participates in Special Campaign 6.0 to reduce pendency

New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is participating in Special Campaign 6.0 to improve cleanliness, reduce pendency in government offices and ensure effective electronic waste management, an official statement said on Friday.

The campaign, which began on October 2, will continue till October 31.

The preparatory phase was held from September 15 to 30, the ministry said.

The campaign focuses on the collection, segregation and disposal of electronic waste in accordance with the e-waste (Management) Rules, 2022.

The ministry and its attached and subordinate offices are also working to clear pending references from Members of Parliament, state governments and the Prime Minister’s Office, inter-ministerial communications, parliamentary assurances, public grievances and appeals received through the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System.

The campaign also includes outdoor cleanliness drives to improve hygiene in and around government establishments and promote sustainable practices, the ministry said. PTI ADI ADI RHL
