Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Sep 15 (PTI) Authorities have imposed prohibitory orders in Maharashtra’s Nanded district from September 15 to 17, an official said.
Permission will not be granted to hold protests in the district during this period, an official statement said.
Nanded district Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Neelabh Rohan passed prohibitory orders under section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
No permission will be given for any kind of agitation from 6 pm on September 15 till the midnight of 17 September, it said.
The order will be applicable in the areas of District Collectorate, Municipal Corporation, Zilla Parishad, tehsil office, Nanded, Statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi statue area, government Ayurvedic college, Government Medical College, Vazirabad and other areas of Nanded city, the statement added.
