Meta, NITI Aayog join hands to set up ‘Frontier Tech Labs’ in ‘schools of strategic importance’

New Delhi: Meta, NITI Aayog, and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) have announced the launch of the Frontier Technology Labs (FTLs) programme in “in schools of strategic importance” to provide students with access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and resources to enable them to explore and create innovative solutions using technology.

This initiative is part of Meta’s Education to Entrepreneurship initiative, which aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to become future entrepreneurs and contribute to the digital transformation of India.

The FTLs will teach students to innovate using technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), augmented and virtual reality (AR), blockchain, cybersecurity, robotics, 3D printing, and internet of things (IoT).

These state-of-the-art labs will provide students with the opportunity to engage in workshops, interactive sessions, and project-based learning to explore and apply the skills they need to solve real-world problems with technology.

The FTLs will also provide students with access to tools and resources from Meta, such as LLaMA and other AI tools, which can help them in building innovative solutions. This collaboration between AIM, NITI Aayog, and Meta aims to create a pool of future-ready talent capable of driving technological advancements in India.
