Maharashtra governor visits Tuljabhavani temple in Dharashiv

Dharashiv, Jul 30 (PTI) Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Thursday visited Shri Tuljabhavani Temple in Dharashiv district and offered prayers.

A release from the temple trust said the governor performed traditional rituals, including a special puja of goddess Tuljabhavani, and participated in the temple aarti.

He also observed customary rituals associated with the shrine, it added.

On his arrival at the temple, Varma was welcomed by collector Kirti Kiran Pujar, also chairman Shri Tuljabhavani Temple Trust, as well as additional collector and temple trust chief executive officer Upendra Tamore. PTI AW BNM
