New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully conducted a flight-test of the RudraM-II air-to-surface missile from the Su-30 MK-I platform off the coast of Odisha. The test-flight took place on May 29, 2024, at around 1130 hours, a PIB press release stated.

The RudraM-II is an indigenous air-launched missile system that is meant to provide a neutralising effect against enemy assets. It is powered by solid propellants and has been developed using indigenous technologies. The missile system has been designed to achieve high precision and control, and it has been successfully tested in a variety of flight conditions. The flight-test data was used to validate the propulsion system and control and guidance algorithm.
