Panaji, Jul 8 (PTI) Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Wednesday said he had conducted a detailed review of healthcare services and ongoing initiatives, with a focus on strengthening the public healthcare ecosystem.

In a post on X, Rane said the review covered key aspects, including healthcare infrastructure, patient care, specialist services, emergency response and technology-driven interventions.

He said discussions also focused on improving coordination across all levels of the healthcare system, from Primary Health Centres (PHCs) to tertiary care facilities.

“The objective is to build a robust and future-ready healthcare system for Goa, where quality treatment is accessible, affordable and efficient for everyone in Goa,” the minister said.

The Goa government has in recent months launched several initiatives aimed at strengthening public healthcare infrastructure and expanding specialist medical services across the state. PTI RPS NSK
